Nothing. Go to giant or Fairprice or a local shop even in foodcourt everywhere everyone will load you up with plastic bags this is what happens here. Government Needs to really bring some rule regarding plastic bag usage or at least start adding 30cents in bills.Best way to reduce the plastic bag usage :Start charging 50 cents every time you request a bag at shopping store but the catch is for 50 cents they should give you a paperbag not plastic bag. This is what I saw when in was Switzerland and I really liked this strategy. Other wise in other countries like India for the sake of demotivating plastic usage shopkeepers will start charging additional money but at the end they will give you plastic bag which is infact additional income to them then reducing the usage. People are least bothered about paying few cents extra for plastic bag. What is Singapore doing to reduce the use of plastic bags?

Yea it's completely normal lots of babies like to play wiht non toy items. Cardboard boxes and paper (as long as it's nuttin imporant, lol) is ok for her to play with as long as she's not puttin it in her mouth, but do not let her play with plastic bags, they are very dangerous for babies and young children to play with. And yea it's normal for babies to put everythin and anythin in there mouths, esp. when they are teethin. My son does like to play with non toy items but not as much as some babies do, he loves his toys lol. He also does not put stuff in his mouth as much as others babies do lol, but he's not ur typical baby, so yea, :D. Hope this helps, :D. Real plastic is not biodegradable. It can only break down into smaller pieces and it is toxic to the soil or any animal that ingests it. I have plastic cans so I do not ues a plastic bag in them. There are biodegradable plastics that are made with plant starches not petroleum. I avoid all plastics as much as possible, and plastic bags like they are the plague, millions of them becom litter and are a hazard to wildlife.
