1. What do chords in parenthesis mean in jazz sheet music?
The chords, if written above the music, would be played simultaneously. D5 is a power chord, or at least that's what it's called on guitar, and as for D/G, there ought to be a chord diagram either at the beginning or end of the piece of music, or if you play guitar, you could go out and buy a chord book, or use an online chord book. D/G just means that somebody either used an existing chord, or made a D build G chord, where they used notes from both the D and G scales. Hope this helps. If all else fails, just ask a guitarist over to jam. If he's had any lessons at all, he will be able to hold a chord that, if not perfect, would at least sit pretty in place of D/G
2. Does anyone know where i can get Free Sheet music?

3. Why is sheet music confined to a key? [duplicate]
You are asking for 'Tonic sol-fa', a peculiarly British system using Anglicised solfege ("Do, a deer, a female deer, Re...") note names and a sort of punctuation notation for rhythms. In its time it was as ubiquitous in British published popular music as chord shapes are now. You still find choral societies etc. using old editions with tonic sol-fa as well as notation, though the ones with ONLY tonic sol-fa are only found now in dusty cupboards

6. How do you play sheet music with 3 staffs AND the melody?
Your two clefs connected together, is your grand staff. That's the way keyboard or piano music is notated. They are read the same way as the individual clefs are, they are simply connected to make it flow together for the pianist. Its easier to see when its all together. The third clef, the treble clef is typically for a solo voice or instrument. So therefore, the grand staff (the bass and treble together) is to be played on the piano, and the top voice (the single treble) is to be sung or played on another instrument

10. What does "rhythmicallyâ mean on sheet music?
This is certainly not a marking confined to music for beginners. It is a perfectly legitimate marking; for instance, in Italian the marking is ritmico. Any passage of music can be played making a greater or lesser emphasis of the rhythm of the music. It is possibly easiest to think about the effect of not playing rhythmically (without rhythmic accentuation), in other words, making the change between notes as smooth as possible, with little attack, and instead as a flowing stream of notes. If one is playing rhythmically, on the other hand, the rhythm of the notes is made more obvious. There are a number of ways to do this, one could: play notes in a more detached or even staccato manner (this would be instrument specific: changing bow on a string instrument; tongueing on a wind instrument, for instance); play each note with a more distinct attack at the beginning; play with a louder, more forceful sound generally (rather than with a soft, mellow, gentle sound).
