The perfect choice of one-stop service for diversification of architecture.

Orlando, FL hard rock hotel and universal studios?
Our family spent a week at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando. At the time, it was my husband and I and our two boys, aged 9 and 14. It was fantastic! Well worth every penny you spend. I loved having the room card as the "express ticket' to get to the front of the lines at the park - a great perk that is unbeatable when you have kids who want to ride the same ride over and over. If you put $$ on the card, you can use it to purchase items at the park. It's great being able to have your purchases delivered to your room too. The location can not be beat - you can literally walk to Universal Studios; we opted to take the boat each day just to get a nice slow start before starting the day. The pool is set up as a 'beach" and was very family friendly and very, very relaxing and soothing. The best thing about the location of the hotel is that you can take a break in the middle of the day and return to the hotel without it being such an ordeal. Universal was a perfect place for us. My guys loved the "themes" and it was not so overwhelming that you were unable to see everything. The size is perfect - you can do it all. We would all suggest you do some of the attractions at night as well - especially "Jaws" As a family , we all loved the MIB ride. Because my husband and our older son are shark fanatics, we opted to do one day at Sea World. There was a bus from the hard Rock Hotel and it was a seamless trip. We truly enjoyed that as well. Since we are big on sealife in our house, my husband and I called ahead a few days prior and made dinner reservations at the restaurant that has the shark tank (can not recall the name now) We did not tell the boys we were going until it was time for our seating; the look on their faces was just priceless and they still talk about how we managed to hoodwink them! All in all, it was probably our most memorable and fun family vacation. We would do it again too. I hope you and your family will have as many great experiences and fond memories as we have!

Disney vs Universal Studios (Orlando)?
Definately Universal, I just went there about a month ago and it was way better than Disney. The beauty of Universal is there are actually two parks - Universal Studios and Adventure Island, therefore when you get a ticket you get admission two both! Universal has some great rides such as "The Mummy Returns", "Shrek 4d", "Terminator 3D". Plus Adventure Island has all the thirll seeking rides such as "the Hulk", my personal favourite "Spiderman", "Jurassic Park", "Dueling Dragons". So there's a lot more to do at Universal, and its better value for money. Disney kinda sucks, and there are always massive lines to get on any of the rides. Go for Universal!

What is your universal studios experience like?
Universal is not my favorite park, but it's still very fun if you've never been before. I have an annual pass, and go twice a month, so that might partly be the reason why its not my favorite. Anyways, be prepared for fun! I had the time of my life the first time I went! The first time I went to the park after purchasing my ticket was in January. It was freezing! I do not know what the temperature will be when you are there, but be ready for the extremes. We've actually had a cooler fall season so far, so im expecting a chilly winter. Even if it warm during the day, night time will be cool, so pack along a sweater and some jeans for night. If you are going in mid-end January, crowds will be diminished. The holiday tourists will have left by this time and children will be in school. I do not think you will need to purchase an Express pass. Wait until you are in the park before determining if you want to buy one or not. I know you are going for 4 days, but you might want to spend a day and a half outside of the parks. There is lots of fun going on all around Orlando. There is the worlds biggest McDonalds, the worlds largest human slingshot, indoor skydiving, Ripleys museum, etc... Also Google International drive. I will give you a review of each park separately. :) If you are interested in Harry Potter, its in Islands of Adventure. The ride in the castle is always pretty long, but I do not think its really worth it. You do get to queue through the castle which is pretty neat. Most people try to hit this section of the park first and it will hold most of the parks guests until early afternoon. I suggest waiting until later to visit. Oh, And do not forget the Butter beer. That stuff is amazingggg :) If you are into thrill rides, this will probably be your favorite park. There are several roller coasters and water rides here. Universal Studios has a lot of photo ops and "movie sets" The rides are much milder, but still lots of fun! I posted the Universal link below where you can look at different shows and rides that might interest you. Oh, and try to participate in fear factor. They do casting calls about 1.5 hours before the show and if they pick you, you are part of the show. Its really fun!
