I must add my two cents to this comment: Race horses go both ways on the track for two reasons only. Training one way or racing the other. Mainly all race horses knees are bad from footing & the distance between both turns on a race track. I know this isnt noting to do with riding but just a bit of info! &..... I would check out Youtube & watch some videos on Dressage. Dressage is the core of riding, it is the basics & you should excell with a "feel" for the horse. Everything your trying to learn your going to pack in your head to quicky for asking questions you will learn with a good trainer if your not at those steps yet, I would keep working on what your learning. I wouldnt be rushing there are so many small steps you can miss overloading your brain to quickly. You will learn in good time & the horse will thank you for taking your time as well.
