The perfect choice of one-stop service for diversification of architecture.
Teledyne e2v once again expanded its digital to analog converter (DAC) IC products. Through its attached evaluation platform, engineers can apply new hardware to design projects in advance. The company will begin to provide the first wave of ev12dd700 dual channel DAC samples in the near future, and its operating frequency can reach Ka band.
This DAC supports beamforming applications, mainly for mission critical microwave systems. It has an output bandwidth of 25ghz and an attenuation value of only 3dB. When the attenuation value is only slightly higher than 3dB, the bandwidth can be further greatly improved.
Each DAC has built-in a series of mature signal processing functions, including programmable anti sinc filter, direct digital synthesis (DDS) capability, programmable complex mixer and digital frequency booster (four interpolation stages and sinc function compensation).
Through the ev12dd700 Evaluation Kit, engineers can explore its main operating parameters before formal mass production later this year, including a sampling frequency of up to 12.5gsamples/s. This helps engineers to evaluate the applicability of products under their design projects in advance. In addition, after registration, users can continuously obtain highly valuable laboratory test data in the next few months.
