The perfect choice of one-stop service for diversification of architecture.
Obviously if it's sold in the aquarium store it will be safe. I am a big fan of finding alternatives because fish store markups are usually too high. Food safe silicone is readily available at hardware type stores and is safe for aquariums too.
1. Looking for NON-TOXIC ways to prevent carpenter ants in new home.?
Spray cheap vegetable oil around outside base of home in Spring, Fall & after each heavy rain is a deterant. Need to spray neighboring trees, branches & roof with the basic (yes, and toxic) spray. There are yellow pellets to through on the yard that they take to their nest. Areas to toss the pellets should have a screen layed on top of grass, etc.. to avoid birds getting them. Thoroughly eliminate all 'going dead' or dead branches around or looming above home, carpenter ants are probably in there and soon need additional room - - your inner walls will be next. Catch an ant and with a magnifying glass look at the top of the rear section. If see couple of light colored yellow hairs, it is carpenter ants.
2. any ideas what to clean my refridgerator with, non toxic, vinegar maybe? thanks everyone?
Vinegar would be fine. If you want to avoid, the smell mix water with baking soda and a little lemon juice
3. Is there anything I can use to remove hard water stains from a stainless steel pot that is non-toxic?
I would try CLR. In the commercial they use it to take away the hard water stains from a coffee decanter. I imagine you have to wash and rinse the pot thoroughly after
4. NON-TOXIC ETCHING STUDIO TIPS
We love the website nontoxicprint.com, it's filled with amazing information and step by step guides to non toxic printing methods. Because of this website, we discovered acrylic resist etching and the Edinburgh Etching Solution. We know that not every experiment works and many trials were done before finding the right recipe. The most difficult part in non-toxic etching is finding the right hard ground. Because using the wrong solution, or applying the ground poorly can result in the ground chipping or altogether falling off. We prepare plates by lightly sanding with steel wool and de-grease using soy sauce. If the plate is not completely free of grease, the oil content repels the water-based ground. Afterwards we paint the ground on using a foam brush in two thin coats. The first layer is a pure solution of Future Floor Wax. Followed by a second layer containing a mixture of Future Floor Wax and India ink. This gives our plates a slight to moderate tone increasing the contrast when drawing through the ground. In addition, you can make the plate darker by adding a third layer of black gouache after the ground has significantly dried. The Edinburgh Etching solution is made with ferric chloride, citric acid and water, which is a safer alternative to nitric acid. We have been using our tank for the past eight years and find that the etching time is almost the same as the day we made it. It takes 35 min to get a deep etch. The etch time can be altered with different ratios of water to ferric chloride.

7. Is there any reason to think that even a very Earth-like extraterrestrial planet would have a breathable and non-toxic atmosphere?
Is there any reason to think that even a very Earth-like extraterrestrial planet would have a breathable and non-toxic atmosphere?Unless there is some process that is continually generating free oxygen, like photosynthesizing plants, the atmosphere will not be capable of sustaining us.Even after the introduction of photosynthesizing microbes, it takes billions of years for the oxygen to build up to acceptable levels. This is because there will be lots of unoxidized elements present that will sop up any free oxygen...until those elements are used up. On Earth, the famous Banded Iron Formations are evidence of this eon-long process in Earth's history
