The Namibia national under-17 football team is the national under-17 football team of Namibia and is controlled by the Namibia Football Association.
The team competes in the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations and the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which are both held every two years. The under-17 team also participates in local, regional and international friendly tournaments, like the COSAFA U-17 Challenge Cup. They recently lost to the Republic of the Congo 5-1 in two legs to bow out of the 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations qualification stage.

Odd Frantzen of fifa footballOdd Frantzen (20 January 1913 2 October 1977) was a Norwegian football outside right player from Bergen who played for SK Hardy. He was capped 20 times for Norway, and scored five international goals. He was a member of Norway's 1936 Summer Olympics bronze medal team, beating Germany 2-0 in the quarter finals, and played in the 1938 World Cup. Norway their first match to Italy in the round 16 (2-1), and Italy would go on to win the cup.
Frantzen was kicked to death by an intruder to his home on 2 October 1977. A 25-year-old man was convicted of manslaughter for the incident, with a 24-year old female accomplice (they received 5 and 1 years prison time, respectively). The goal of the intrusion was to acquire alcohol.
Frantzen married Betty Blindheim on 26 July 1941; they separated in 1965. Frantzen had at least one granddaughter, Joy Frantzen.

Hugh Robertson (footballer, born 1939) of fifa footballHugh Robertson (29 November 1939 12 March 2010) was a Scottish association football player and manager. He played as a winger for the Dundee team that won the Scottish league championship in 1962, and the Dunfermline side that won the 1968 Scottish Cup. He played 40 games for Arbroath, including their promotion from Division 2 in 1971-2. He later managed Danish club Herflge.
Robertson represented the Scotland national football team once, in a vital 1962 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Czechoslovakia. Injuries to Davie Wilson and Alex Scott meant that Robertson and Ralph Brand were brought in for the match, which Scotland had to win to qualify. Despite two goals by Ian St. John, Scotland lost 42 after extra time.
Robertson died at his home on 12 March 2010.
