Is windfall profit tax a form of Communism?
No. But that is a problem that should be strongly considered. We need a way to get more money to the people. That is the intention. It might be better to work with the corporations that do well and get them to give up some of that money to the people. But for what benefit to them? Altruistic? Scholarships for college so they can obtain better employees in the future? This is the tough part of politics. The rich and mighty are lousy people. They do not care. They are selfish bloodsuckers. The right thing to do would be to give the money back in some form deemed suitable to them. But they would rather just keep it for themselves and say F. U. to everyone else. Is not that what they are really doing?

As a freelance photographer, via photo shows, I could barely break even; and it cost 2-3K, suggestions?
Pay out less - Charge more. If your end product is selling and your not making a profit, you either need to shop for less expensive supplies or ask a higher price.

Breaking even: is there a point where you can always profit?
If there is a sure profit, you can find a betting ratio that assures you a profit regardless of who wins. Say you bet $1$ on $X$ and $y$ on $Y$. If $X$ wins, you get $7$ back. If $Y$ wins you get $2y$ back. To make it so you do not care who wins, you want $7=2y, y=frac 72$ Now for each $frac 92$ you bet you get $7$. Wow-over a $50%$ return. Bet all you can at this ratio. The same approach works for different odds. Find the ratio of bets that makes you indifferent to who wins. If you win, bet all you can. If you lose at this ratio, only bet if the market is wrong about the probabilities. Maybe you know something the market does not know (this is called insider trading). Maybe you know something is important that the market has overlooked-make a killing

Is Income equivalent to Gain as in Profits?
"Income" is whatever the courts decide it is. The courts have always ruled that all wages, salaries, tips, commissions, etc. are considered "income" is defined by the tax code and as intended by Congress. Many people have gone to court arguing that their wages/salary is not "income" under the tax code. They have ALL lost.

what are some of the most profitable stocks?
If it is a game and your time horizon is only 3 months I would probably take a chance by investing in a few junior mining stocks that are past the feasibility stage and with very high IRRs of greater than 50% on their mining projects. Many of those stocks got hammered and corrected over 50% in this sell off and many of the stocks currently have market caps of 10% or less of their NPVs-That is dirt cheap. If the market sentiment changes back to the same theme these stocks will likely double. TMLVF.pk GMIMF.pk GVCM.pk and BRLTF.pk are my favorites.. I also like GPR. For a larger cap play I would look at Tullow Oil TUWLF.pk. They have been the most successful oil driller worldwide in the past year and are drilling a new wildcat fo a very large prospect in a region that has had 100% success in the last year.
