Hows Life Change During Pandemic for People Who Love Fashion

One of our interviewees Liu, who loves fashion and usually shops in store since she needs to try on each item before buying, told us that she is still shopping for clothing items, but all purchases are happening online now. Liu cares about styles more than prices and is willing to sometimes buy expensive items if they look really good on her. Given the recent situation, if shes not happy with the received items from online shopping she chooses to take them since the returning process now is extremely long.

One thing Liu shared is that many e-commerce companies are offering 20% 30% off as a promotion on fashion products, which sounds like a good opportunity to do some shopping. She ordered some of them but was told that it would take 25 weeks to receive the items, even if these stores extend the returning deadline to more than a month or two, the whole shopping experience is still disappointing.Liu said her shopping style will not change after this pandemic, because she always thinks that trying before buying is important and that in store experience is a nice part of the whole shopping process.
