1. How to take a trip to Amsterdam?
All depends on where you are travelling from. There have been many past discussions here on amounts of spending money you would need for a low budget round of drugs tourism
2. Does anyone here know if the Quentin England Hotel in Amsterdam is weed-smoker friendly?
It's not a back street traveller's hang out. It's quite a fancy place, so they might have a policy on dope. Although weed is tolerated in The Netherlands, it does not mean that every place accepts or appreciates you spreading the smell and atmosphere of your joint.
3. Where can you find some good canal rides near Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam?
LOL, there is no canal ride near Schiphol. There is a lot of water though, but we do not build Airports in the cities, so you would just be on a boat in green meadows. Better take the fifteen minute train from Schiphol to Amsterdam CS (= central station). Right in front of the central station are several boat tours through the canals. They all follow about the same route for about an hour. The entrance to Schiphol train station is in the arrival hall. During day and evening a train will go about every ten minutes. Costs: maybe 5 euro. Visit www.ns.nl if you want to know exactly at what time your train will leave at which platform. There is an English site.

9. Need help to plan a trip from Helsinki to Amsterdam,Brussels & Paris?
Brussels may be the capital of Belgium and may be the primary seat of the Belgian Royal Family and, also the capital of the European Union and if you intend to know after that it here is the place hotelbye . Brussels is an incredibly little, easy-going, and human-sized town for all its importance. Unlike anthers town using their millions of tourists, Brussels is Belgium's main economic and instructional heart, which gives the town a far more workaday sense than different towns. Here, in Brussels, if you would choose to see, you will get a appropriate experience for Belgian living, particularly its amazing restaurant and caf culture. Even though Brussels may not have the star attractions of other Belgian cities, the capital has plenty of to keep readers occupied for a few days with a clutch of world-class museums and art galleries, as well as quirkier sights like the Atomium, and some great remnants of old structure in the previous community quarter
10. DevDays 2009 Reviews - Amsterdam
One thing I noticed was that all the hands-on first application demos failed miserably (except for the App Engine talk).QT and ASP.NET MVC are too broadly spread technologies to try and do a hands-on application demo in an hour. I guess that's why both struggled. Side note: Eero Bragge took 15 minutes to design a form in a WYSIWIG editor which is kind of insulting the intellect of all the developers in the audience. Similarly the jQuery talk had quite the extensive run-down of the API which was not at all informative as it's meaningless to both folks who have and have not used jQuery before: either they do not care (just yet) or are already familiar with the API. A talk on jQuery in the real world solving real problems would have won more hearts.Simon Willison's (Python) & Christian Heilmann's (YUI) approach of:worked because it had no intention of being a newbie tutorial on
