1891 college football season
The 1891 college football season was the season of American football played among colleges and universities in the United States during the 1891-92 academic year. The 1891 Yale Bulldogs football team, led by head coach Walter Camp, compiled a perfect 13-0 record, outscored opponents by a total of 488 to 0, and has been recognized as the national champion by the Billingsley Report, Helms Athletic Foundation, Houlgate System, National Championship Foundation, and Parke H. Davis. Yale's 1891 season was part of a 37-game winning streak that began at the end of the 1890 season and continued into the 1893 season. In the Midwest, Kansas led the way with a 7-0-1 record. In the South, Trinity (now known as Duke) was recognized as the champion. Ten of the eleven players selected by Caspar Whitney to the 1891 All-America college football team came from the Big Three (Yale, Harvard, and Princeton). The eleventh player was center John Adams from Penn. Five of the honorees have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame: quarterback Philip King (Princeton), halfback Lee McClung (Yale), end Frank Hinkey (Yale), tackle Marshall Newell (Harvard), and guard Pudge Heffelfinger (Yale).

1968 NAIA football season
The 1968 NAIA football season, as part of the 1968 college football season in the United States, was the 13th season of college football sponsored by the NAIA. The season was played from August to November 1968, culminating in the 1968 NAIA Championship Bowl, played this year on December 14, 1968 in Montgomery, Alabama. Troy State defeated Texas A&I in the Championship Bowl, 43-35, to win their first NAIA national title.

2013 NCAA Division III football season
The 2013 NCAA Division III football season, part of college football in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association at the Division III level, began in August 31, 2013, and concluded with the National Championship Game of the NCAA Division III Football Championship on December 20, 2013, at Salem Football Stadium in Salem, Virginia. This was the twenty-first consecutive title game held in Salem. The Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks defeated the Mount Union Purple Raiders, 52-14, to win their fifth national title. The 2013 Gagliardi Trophy was awarded to quarterback Kevin Burke from Mount Union.

2018 Southeastern Conference football season
The 2018 Southeastern Conference football season represents the 86th season of SEC football taking place during the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The season began on August 30 and will end with the SEC Championship Game, between Alabama and Georgia, on December 1. The SEC is a Power Five conference under the College Football Playoff format along with the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Big 12 Conference, the Big Ten Conference, and the Pac-12 Conference. For the 2018 season, the SEC has 14 teams divided into two divisions of seven each, named East and West.

1962 Big Ten Conference football season
The 1962 Big Ten Conference football season was the 67th season of college football played by the member schools of the Big Ten Conference and was a part of the 1962 NCAA University Division football season. The 1962 Wisconsin Badgers football team, under head coach Milt Bruhn, compiled an 8-2 record, won the Big Ten championship, led the conference in scoring offense (32.2 points per game), and was ranked No. 2 in the final AP Poll. After losing only one game in the regular season, the Badgers lost to USC in the 1963 Rose Bowl. Quarterback Ron Vander Kelen led the Big Ten with 1,582 passing yards and 1,839 total yards and won the Chicago Tribune Silver Football as the conference's most valuable player. End Pat Richter led the conference with 694 receiving yards and was a consensus first-team All-American. The 1962 Minnesota Golden Gophers football team, under head coach Murray Warmath, compiled a 6-2-1 record, led the conference in scoring defense (6.8 points allowed per game), finished in second place in the Big Ten, and was ranked No. 10 in the final AP Poll. Tackle Bobby Bell was a consensus first-team All-American, won the Outland Trophy as college football's best interior lineman, and finished third in the voting for the 1962 Heisman Trophy. The 1962 Northwestern Wildcats football team, under head coach Ara Parseghian, compiled a 7-2 record and finished in third place in the conference. The Wildcats were ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll before losing consecutive games late in the season. They remained ranked No. 16 in the final Coaches' Poll. Quarterback Tom Myers totaled 1,537 passing yards, and center Jack Cvercko was a consensus first-team All-American. The conference's other statistical leaders included Michigan State fullback George Saimes with 642 rushing yards and Wisconsin's Lou Holland with 72 points scored.
