How Do You Install Windows 10 on a Computer Without Windows?
You have two options: 1) Buy Win 7 and install it. Then use the free Win10 upgrade. Two points on this however: (a) Win 7 has been discontinued from manufacture. So you will need to shop around to find an old copy still for sale. Look at Amazon.com first because they tend to keep old, outdated software (b) The free upgrade offer for Win 10 end in July 2016. So if you want to take advantage of the free offer, you only have a few more months to do so OR 2) Buy the full installation retail copy of Win 10. You can get this at any office supply store that sells Windows products Then you just put the DVD into your drive and boot up with it and it will start installation1. windows falling to boot?Either A) The circuit board on the hard drive is broken, you can get a new one on ebay or amazon. B) The hard drive is broken beyond repair and you should just get a new one. C) It is formatted in a way that the XP computer does not understand. D) The adapter is not working properly. Try first using a different drive with the adapter to confirm it's working. Then plug it into a computer running windows 7 or linux to test the drive works. If it does not work then swap out the board for one from the same model of drive, or a new or second-hand one from the internet. If it still does not work then its most likely bust, you could try opening it and mounting the platters in a different one but that is most likely to destroy it completely. Just tell the customer they should have kept backups and give/sell them a new drive for the computer.2. Get some Anti-Virus protection, activate and update Windows! Techno5. dhclient not working at bootIn my case, under CentOS 6/Fedora this was related to an inconsistency between /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules .In both files, the MAC associated to the eth0 interface is declared. On a VM clonation, a new MAC was assigned but not reflected here (the admin should have done that). When booting up, you can see in dmesg that the real eth0 is renamed to eth1 (enters in conflict with ifcfg-eth0), then a new entry is automatically created under 70-persistent-net.rules associating the found MAC to eth1.dhclient did not start (or if started, aborted) - the result being that the system did not get an IP from the DHCP server.Remarkably enough, running dhclient manually forces the acquisition of an IP for the fake eth1 and the network works normally after that. ... until the next reboot. Manually editing the files cited above so that MAC and eth* names are coincident has fixed the issue - now dhclient starts at boot & gets the IP by itself

For model-specific information about other possible connections and system settings, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product. Manuals are posted on your model support page. NOTE: The following are some advantages of using HDMI over other connections: HDMI transfers uncompressed digital audio and video for the highest, crispest image quality. HDMI combines video and multi-channel audio into a single cable, eliminating the cost, complexity, and confusion of multiple cables currently used in A/V systems. Both coaxial audio cables and optical audio cables support surround-sound for up to 5.1 channels of sound. Both coaxial audio cables and optical audio cables transfer a digital signal with a wider frequency bandwidth to provide superior signal transfer. Connect either the coaxial audio cable or optical audio cable to the or of the source device. What is the differences between video chat and video conferencing? The technology is changing continuously to conduct audio and video interaction in real-time between the users at unconnected locations. Video chat may involve point-to-point interaction that is conducted via a tablet, computer, or smartphone device. Video chatting is not same as video conferencing. But it is often used interchangeably. In most affairs, video conferencing refers to a multipoint video and audio interaction brought into play in a business setting. For a successful connection, video conferencing necessitates a piece of specialized equipment on both the ends2. What is the funniest youtube video?I like all of the Family guy episodes they are funny, especially the one where Stewie kills his mom,lol(:3. looking for video camera advice for making a movieIt depends how picky you are and what sort of quality you are expecting. Pocket camcorders and cameras that happen to capture video as a "convenience feature" start at around $80 and go up to about $300. Consumer camcorders start at around $250 and top out at around $1,500. Pretty much any camera or camcorder will do - if it is used within its capabilities and your expectations are appropriate. Step 1: Set a budget. Does your $500 include tripod, lights, extra option rechargeable battery from the camcorder manufacturer, mics, etc.? 1) Use some sort of steadying device. Tripod, chair, table, floor... anything, but not handheld. 2) Add lots of light. This can be as simple and inexpensive as getting a couple of worklights from the hardware store. If the scenes are dark, then learn to edit to "day for night". 3) Plan the scenes. Stick to the plan. Concept, outline, storyboard, script... Plan, Plan, Plan. Have compelling content. 4) Edit before posting. We all know lots of folks who use pocket cameras and I know lots of folks who use camcorders costing $3,000 or more. If you are expecting the quality usually provided by a $7,000 from a $500 camera, then the expectation is wrong and you will be disappointed. Look into something in the Canon HF R or MH M series

This was used to instill discipline and attention to detail. Now they do alot more things geared towards field training, and they carry M16s from day one. That is just basic training, depending on your AFSC, your tech school may be more rigorous than BMT was. And to those people talking crap about the AF... Yeah, AF BMT is only 6 1/2 weeks long (for now), but that is all I ever hear from other branches, is that we have a shorter basic training. All you guys talk up that you went to boot camp for 13 weeks and because you did that you are a certified bad ***. Do not get me wrong, 13 weeks of boot camp would be hell, but the role of the AF is completely different than any other service. Our mission is to dominate the skies, and to dominate the skies we need to have the best aircraft inventory. To have the best aircraft inventory we need to have the best people to design/test and maintain those aircraft. We also need the best people to support the role of our aircraft (ground jobs, C-E, Comm, Security Forces, etc.) to ensure they can do their jobs and dominate the skies. Doing most of this does not involve the most braun, but it does involve the most brains... In the AF we get to think to ourselves occasionally... Not because the AF lacks discipline, but because the AF wants people who can think for themselves and get a job done without a higher ranking person holding their hand. And to those who talk about deployments, the AF deploys more consistently than any other branch because of our AEF concept. We deploy for 4 month rotations every 20 months. Dual-booting DOS and Windows 9x
Dual-booting DOS and Windows 9x
Dual-booting DOS and Windows 9xWhen installing Windows 95 over a preexisting DOS/Windows install, CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT are renamed to CONFIG.DOS and AUTOEXEC.DOS. This is intended to ease dual booting between Windows 9x and DOS. When booting into DOS, they are temporarily renamed CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT. Backups of the Windows 9x versions are made as .W40 files. Windows 9x also installs MSDOS.SYS, a configuration file, which will not boot Windows 95/98 if parameterBOOTGUI=0 is loaded, and instead a DOS prompt will appear on the screen (Windows can still be loaded by calling the WIN command (file WIN.COM). This file contains some switches that designate how the system will boot, one of which controls whether or not the system automatically goes into Windows. This "BootGUI" option must be set to "0" in order to boot to a DOS prompt. By doing this, the system's operation essentially becomes that of a DOS/Windows pairing like with earlier Windows versions. Windows can be started as desired by typing WIN at the DOS prompt. When installing Caldera DR-DOS 7.02 and higher, the Windows version retains the name AUTOEXEC.BAT, while the file used by the DR-DOS COMMAND.COM is named AUTODOS7.BAT, referred to by the startup parameter /P:filename.ext in the SHELL directive. It also differentiates the CONFIG.SYS file by using the name DCONFIG.SYS.— — — — — —Windows SourcesWindows Sources was a magazine by ZDNet. It lasted from 1993 - c. 2001. In 1997 Ziff-Davis Inc. appointed Frank Quigley as the publisher of the magazine. The magazine was later renamed Windows Pro. The headquarters was in New York City. Patrick Norton ran the hardware reviews section. Carlos Carrillo was the Assistant Editor and ran the shareware reviews section.— — — — — —Windows 3.0Windows 3.0, released in May 1990, improved capabilities given to native applications. It also allowed users to better multitask older MS-DOS based software compared to Windows/386, thanks to the introduction of virtual memory. Windows 3.0's user interface finally resembled a serious competitor to the user interface of the Macintosh computer. PCs had improved graphics by this time, due to VGA video cards, and the protected/enhanced mode allowed Windows applications to use more memory in a more painless manner than their DOS counterparts could. Windows 3.0 could run in real, standard, or 386 enhanced modes, and was compatible with any Intel processor from the 8086/8088 up to the 80286 and 80386. This was the first version to run Windows programs in protected mode, although the 386 enhanced mode kernel was an enhanced version of the protected mode kernel in Windows/386. Windows 3.0 received two updates. A few months after introduction, Windows 3.0a was released as a maintenance release, resolving bugs and improving stability. A "multimedia" version, Windows 3.0 with Multimedia Extensions 1.0, was released in October 1991. This was bundled with "multimedia upgrade kits", comprising a CD-ROM drive and a sound card, such as the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Pro. This version was the precursor to the multimedia features available in Windows 3.1 (first released in April 1992) and later, and was part of Microsoft's specification for the Multimedia PC. The features listed above and growing market support from application software developers made Windows 3.0 wildly successful, selling around 10 million copies in the two years before the release of version 3.1. Windows 3.0 became a major source of income for Microsoft, and led the company to revise some of its earlier plans. Support was discontinued on December 31, 2001.— — — — — —Windows NT 3.5Windows NT 3.5 is an operating system developed by Microsoft, released on September 21, 1994. It is the second release of Windows NT. One of the primary goals during Windows NT 3.5 development was to improve the operating system's performance. As a result, the project was codenamed "Daytona", after the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Like many other older Windows versions before 1996, Microsoft stopped supporting Windows NT 3.5 on December 31, 2001. Support for Windows NT 3.51 Workstation also ended on that date.— — — — — —IRQL (Windows)An Interrupt Request Level (IRQL) is a hardware-independent means with which Windows prioritizes interrupts that come from the system's processors. On processor architectures on which Windows runs, hardware generates signals that are sent to an interrupt controller. The interrupt controller sends an interrupt request (or IRQ) to the CPU with a certain priority level, and the CPU sets a mask that causes any other interrupts with a lower priority to be put into a pending state, until the CPU releases control back to the interrupt controller. If a signal comes in at a higher priority, then the current interrupt will be put into a pending state; the CPU sets the interrupt mask to the priority and places any interrupts with a lower priority into a pending state until the CPU finishes handling the new, higher priority interrupt. Windows maps not only hardware interrupt levels to its internal interrupt table but also maps software interrupts. The mappings in this table are called Interrupt Request Levels, or IRQLs, and a separate IRQL is kept for each processor in a multiprocessor system. The IRQL values are specific to the x86, IA64 and AMD64 processor architectures that Windows can run on, though theoretically they can support other CPUs that use a similar interrupt scheme (such as the DEC Alpha and MIPS, which were supported briefly on early versions of Windows). What this essentially means is that APCs (asynchronous procedure calls), user threads and kernel mode operations can be interrupted, and the system must run them at an IRQL lower than the thread scheduler (or "dispatcher").
Is " Necessary in " , ?
Is " Necessary in " , ?
Is "же” necessary in "такая же, как”?Depends upon what you try to conwey, to stress. The meanings overlap a lot, but priorities weigh in, what you consider primary message and what - undertones. If you want characterize object A by comparing to object B then is not needed. Like you may try to explain nuanced colours to a professional painter. He knows very many colour terms, but you do not . But you may say something like "i would like this wall with a colour LIKE the skies near that cloud" " , , ".There was once a pop song " " - with the repeats going like "I want me a husband like a Putin so he would do X". There was no actual husband there, there was just "copying" characteristics from a well known object. The opposing intention, instead of the characterizing something by analogy, with neither giving detailed descriptions nor listing through soecialized dictionaries, would be stressing the "sameness" (or, sometimes, lack of it) of some objectes. When you do not care that much what "value" the attribute has, but the fact of it being the same. It can be surprise, anger, disapproval, questioning, etc. For example, you may come to unknown village and roam the streets, trying to "find the house with the walls SAME colour as on this old photograph" - " , ".Or maybe there is a heap of mess in the room, you hold some left boot and you ask someone to find a pair. You might end up saying "help me to find the boot that is all the SAME but is right one" - " ". While this does, among other thing, fix the attribites, the qualities of a missing boot, you primary concern is not in those specific colour or size or shape but in the boot as a whole being a MATCH for the one you hold.— — — — — —How do you find out if a linux machine overheated before the previous boot and was shutdown in Debian? When the machine overheats, before kernel shuts down the system, it produces a message stored in the log file. For systemd setup this file is accessible via journalctl command and the relevant output should look like this:So we need to search for 'critical temperature' stuff in the $SYSTEMD_PAGER (usually less) or directly:You can add -b -1 to search only in messages of the boot before last. With that being said, I think 60C is really very low for tripping point. Most CPUs often reach that temperature during compilation or other resourceful tasks. Be sure you have all proper modules loaded (for you processor) and check thermal parameters with sensors-detect followed by sensors command— — — — — —Boot campAfter a disastrous start at Kidbrooke, with students refusing to eat and dinner ladies threatening to resign due to overwork, Oliver organised a "boot camp" for dinner ladies in the borough, roping in the catering division of the British Army to demonstrate how to cook large amounts of food quickly and efficiently— — — — — —Ever broken something valuable?Oh. Yes, I broke a crystal boot that my husband bought with our first daughter's name on it. I was tossing a toy in the house and it hit the boot and crashed to the floor. Oh, I was so upset. He never replaced it, and that made it worse for me.— — — — — —What are all the methods of removing a boot placed on a vehicles tire?First of all - boots do not cost $ 1100.00 - you are being ripped off. Who on the board have you pyssed off lately, because this is totally uncalled for and someone is having their way with you. The only way to remove the boot is to unbolt it so you will need an adapter socket and a ratchet with an extension on it. And when you get the boots off I would suggest that you rest/drop both of them on a board members hood.— — — — — —How to bootTo boot into DSRM, the user can reboot the computer and press F8 during the start-up sequence. The following options will be displayed: Safe Mode VGA Mode Last Known Good Configuration Directory Services Restore ModeThe user must select Directory Services Restore Mode.— — — — — —Boot worshipBoot worship is the extreme adulation of boots in BDSM, usually carried out while the footwear is being worn by the dominant partner. It is related to foot worship in a derivative way, in that the adulation may really be attributable to the proximity of the boots to their master/mistress. The foot is usually considered one of the "lowest" and least appreciated parts of the body, and it is a kind of humiliation to be kissing and licking someone's foot. In "boot worship", the humiliation goes one step further. The submissive willingly worships the dominant partner's boots, and often without even being asked to. This reverence for the footwear that encloses the dominant partner's foot is sometimes an expression of extreme devotion or loyalty, sometimes a concrete admission of inferiority or defeat, and sometimes both. Thus, boot worship may include sniffing or inhaling from worn boots, as well as licking, kissing or cleaning their exteriors by licking. Sometimes, polishing of the boot can also be done. Chewing and eating of leather shoes and boots can also be done. Sometimes, the dominant will choke the submissive by forcefully inserting her booted feet in the submissive's mouth. The dominant can also kick the submissive while wearing boots. The dominant can make the slave eat food smashed by her boots, or even the food that sticks to the bottom of boots. Boots are also used by the dominant for ballbusting. It may also consist, more passively, of the submissive lying prone and being "trampled" by the dominant partner. Heeled boots may lend themselves to sucking, in an approximation of fellatio, anal and urethra insertion. The dominant partner can also sometimes beat the sub or slave with the footwear while wearing it. They can also have the submissive lying down in front of them, and then place their boots over the submissive's mouth, face, or body instead of the floor.
Ubuntu 12.10 64bit Not Booting
Ubuntu 12.10 64bit Not Booting
You don't have a proper EFI installation; there are several things wrong with it. First, though, consider this: It looks as if you're dual-booting with Windows, and Windows is clearly installed in BIOS mode. If you intend to keep booting Windows from this disk, I strongly recommend against attempting an EFI-mode installation of Linux. Instead, I recommend booting a Linux recovery disk in BIOS/legacy mode and re-installing GRUB 2. That should get Linux booting in BIOS mode, and you should be able to dual-boot Windows in BIOS mode.If you don't care about booting Windows, or if you want to convert it to boot in EFI mode, you'll have to correct some things about your installation:It's unclear if you've registered your EFI version of GRUB with the EFI. If not, you need to do this with the efibootmgr utility, as in:efibootmgr -c -p 8 -l EFIubuntugrubx64.efi -L UbuntuThe installer should set this up, and you can type efibootmgr -v to see the existing entries to see if you've already got one. There may be other things you'll need to do to get the system booting in EFI mode, but they're likely to be highly system-specific. The Ubuntu Boot Repair tool can do some of them automatically, but given the mixed nature of your current installation, I'm not sure I'd trust it until you've gotten things more in line with a standard installationA serious issue cropped up just now, I removed my 32bit 12.04 and installed 12.10 64bit version.I followed Creating an EFI partition given at UEFINow my system wont boot without my bootable USB stick connected.. I'm Leaving for Boot Camp in 7 Days!!! Anyone Have Any Good Advice?
I'm Leaving for Boot Camp in 7 Days!!! Anyone Have Any Good Advice?
I'm leaving for boot camp in 7 days!!! anyone have any good advice?just try not to cry on the first week of boot camp. The drill sgts. wil scare the pants off you when they get on the bus. I pratically jumped out the window. 2) On the first day be prepared to carry your duffle bag to your bed, try and get a bottom bunk. 3) Always lock your things, There are many theives in the military and brown hats will take your stuff too. 4) volunteer when ever they ask for someone, even if you do not know what it is( They like those guys) 5) Do not ever talk in the cafeteria 6) just mind your own business— — — — — —What do I do at marine boot camp if my hair is too short for a bun?Honestly, best thing to do is keep it short until after boot camp. As long as it does not fall past the bottom of your collar, you can leave it down. It's much easier to deal with, you get very little time in boot camp. Still pay attention to the drill instructors when they give a short instruction on how to make proper buns, though, in case you decide to grow it out after— — — — — —Whatu2019s the worst thing you can say in boot camp?"no sir" when they tell you to do something.Itu2019s just a REALLY bad idea.Do not do it.Or do it.I bet you will never do it again. If you really want to up the ante, say something like, "Sir, this recruit thinks the recruits do not PT enough"If you want to get REALLY messed up, just throw all of your customs and courtesies out the window.Try greeting your drill instructor with a simple "hey dude" instead of "good morning sir". Say please literally ALL THE TIME. For the littlest reasons. "Hey bro, can I please go in the sand pit again?"For bonus points, throw away any and ALL naval terminology."Thanks pal."Whatu2019s the worst thing you can say in boot camp?.— — — — — —Scared about boot camp showers?Sounds like you would be better off not joining the military. If you are that sensitive then you will not make it though the first week. And once they find out that you can not take it they will be all over you like white on rice. Seriously, stay home.— — — — — —Leaving for boot camp, but I got a phobia?I was in the army and went to fort sill, Oklahoma. Im scared of heights at points too. When im on a wooden bridge held up with rope and its 200' long and 200' in the air, drill sgt. standing in the middle swinging it yelling and screaming at you to hurry up. I totally understand the getting psych would out but once your in the moment, it is totally different. They make you a stronger person inside and out, as i said once u are standing their and have had the right training you wont even hesitate for a second. Good luck and thanks for joining i hope all goes well for you!.— — — — — —Shipping out for boot camp questions...?I will be checking back on this question to see what some of the recent boot-camp grads have to say. When I went to Navy boot camp in January 1970, we were not allowed to take anything. Even the clothes which we were wearing upon arrival were packed into a cardboard box and shipped home that very same evening.— — — — — —Can a Recruit in boot camp...masturbate?all other issues aside here.....I know of no "screening" that determines if you've recently had sex. Alone or otherwise. Certainly nothing performed on countless recruits during boot camp. No one really cares if you are giving it a tug or not.— — — — — —On What day of Boot Camp do give a urine sample? specifically Coast Guard Boot Camp?At ANY time your told to.....why? Are you doing drugs prior to going? You asked about the coast guard three months ago, so it is apparent that you knew you were going in....should have stayed clean! We do not need druggies in any branch of service! Hope your caught...then you will never get a good federal job anywhere in the world. What happens if a military boot camp recruit is involuntarily separated by the drill instructors while in boot camp, but the recruit refuses to leave training?Iu2019m not certain I understand your question. When you wrote "u2026involuntarily separatedu2026" that makes it sound as if you mean the trainee is discharged from the Army involuntarily. Uh, that canu2019t happen because a drill sergeant doesnu2019t have that authority. If you meant the drill sergeant wants a particular trainee to leave the training site and he refuses, the drill sergeant will "persuade" the trainee that itu2019s in his best interest to depart the training area. I was a basic training company commander for two years at Fort Knox, KY, and that never happened that Iu2019m aware of. Iu2019m confident that a drill sergeant can get a trainee to respond in an appropriate manner in every situation he will encounter during training. What happens if a military boot camp recruit is involuntarily separated by the drill instructors while in boot camp, but the recruit refuses to leave training?

Running Fedora 27, I needed to mount the efivarfs. I did this inside the chrootfs, however this still wasn't working, as the boot entry was shown with efibootmgr - but after reboot it was nether booted nor was shown once back in the live OS.What finally worked, was using grub from the live medium, drop to the shell, and enterlinuxefi /vmlinuz- root/dev/mapper/luks- roinitrdefi /initramfs-.imgbootFrom the normal OS booted, I could run grub2-install without chroot, and that worked.I am not sure whether this was just an issue with my BIOS, or there is still something more generally wrong, but this is what made grub2-install run without reporting any error.# Open encrypted root partioncryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sda4 a4mount /dev/mapper/a4 /mntmount /dev/sda2 /mnt/bootmount -t proc proc /mnt/procmount -t sysfs sys /mnt/sysmount -o bind /dev /mnt/devmount -t devpts pts /mnt/dev/pts/mount -o bind /etc/resolv.conf /mnt/etc/resolv.confchroot /mnt # run inside the chroot:mount /dev/sda1 /boot/efimount -t efivarfs efivarfs /sys/firmware/efi/efivarsgrub2-installI am attempting to install Arch linux to a new (and very crappy) HP Pavillion 15 Notebook. This is a UEFI-based machine. Is There a Way to Make the Boot Menu Recognize a Usb Drive (it Doesn't at the Moment) Without Enteri
Is There a Way to Make the Boot Menu Recognize a Usb Drive (it Doesn't at the Moment) Without Enteri
In case anyone encounters the same problem (it seems to be Fujitsu specific): probably the only way you can make the boot menu recognize your USB is by opening your laptop, removing RAM (it depends on the laptop's model, in some cases you probably don't need to do that) and shortening CL1 and CL2 circuits while the laptop is turned on. Just press two little dots which are signed as CL1 and CL2 with a screwdriver or something metal for about 20 seconds until the boot menu restarts, and then you can proceed with installing an OS from your USB or CD. But bear in mind that you still will not be able to access BIOS. From what I understand, you'll need to install Windows for thatAfter installing Ubuntu on my Fujitsu lifebook (my previous OS was Windows 7 Home Edition) I decided to change my OS again (from a USB stick). However, the only options that the boot menu suggests are: 1. Ubuntu and the diagnostic screen (which, by the way, shows my USB). When I try to access BIOS to change the order settings so that boot menu shows the USB as an option, the laptop beeps and shows "Please wait..." line and then loads the Ubuntu load screen without actually entering BIOS.From what I've looked up, it seems that Ubuntu messed up something that has to do with BIOS and it needs resetting, which involves physical manipulations with the laptop. And I really don't want to do that because I can accidentally break something. So, my question is: can I make the boot menu recognize my USB without entering BIOS, and, if that's not possible, are there any other ways to install an OS without boot menu or BIOS?The boot menu not recognizing my USB·OTHER ANSWER:After installing Ubuntu on my Fujitsu lifebook (my previous OS was Windows 7 Home Edition) I decided to change my OS again (from a USB stick).
