What should I wear to my work experience at a primary school?

I would suggest smart trousers the easily washable kind which you can get from places like New Look, plain flat shoes and either a shirt or smart t-shirt type top. Bear in mind you will probably need the clothes to be practical, washable and easy to move in if your dealing with children as if your dealing with the younger ones you will be bending down alot so skirts mine be impractical. Which high school should I choose?

I think you should choose Option #1- it sounds like the better school for you. I personally feel a smaller school is better, because you can get to know the students/teachers there better, you are familiar with the surroundings and most of your friends are going there. You are also more likely to get one-one support from teachers if you run into any problems at a small school. Just like you, I attended a small primary school- it had about 400 students and I knew virtually everyone there. I found my teachers there very understanding and caring and every student was a valued member of the school community. I was happy and enjoyed my time at the school. When I finished primary school, I chose a government high school (with over 1200 students) mostly because it was the closest one to home. I thought I would made the right choice- the school offered a wide range of subjects and programs and I thought I would be happy and do well in my studies there. But I had trouble fitting in (I am shy and only knew 1 boy whom I was not that close to, in my class)- I ended up being alone for breaks and just about every school associated activity. The school did not even provide adequate support and care for it's students- the Student Welfare teacher did not seem genuinely interested in helping me and even suggested to move schools instead (I did not , but now thinking back, I should have moved to a different school). You could not even use the library at breaks because the library teacher happily closed it up during those times. The school also seemed to prefer (and recognize) high achieving students over others and several teachers had extremely negative attitudes towards teaching and students in general. Some of them even seemed incompetent and just could not relate to students. My stress and anxiety levels were sky high and I felt lonely, unhappy and miserable throughout my entire time there. I ended up finishing high school feeling angry, depressed and with lower than expected Year 12 results (that's why I wished I would gone to a different school instead- if I had friends and/or received adequate care/support, my final results and overall state of mind would have been a lot better). Its up to you whether you choose School 1 or School 2- in the end it is your happiness that counts.
