There is nothing at all wrong with wearing a wig.I think about 99% of the women I know dye their hair in some form or another. Your wig sound like you are almost natural so if anyone makes fun or jokes about it then yes tell them to go to hell !!!! You wear what ever makes you feel good. I do not have anything agianst dyes and highlights but is it much different from a wig? I don,t think so.Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving

When you do get a wig, try to get human hair because you can do alot more with it, as in curl it, style it and everything.But syntethic hair ya cant really do to much!

HOT TOOLS MAY NOT BE USED ON SYNTHETIC WIGS. Hot blow driers, curling irons, flat irons and similar tools will melt the synthetic hair strands and ruin the wig. The only exception is use of a clothing steamer. Synthetic hair may be straightened by placing the wig on a wig stand, steaming the hair with a clothing steamer while combing the hair down. Hoped that helped! By the way, I would not use that method the women in the youtube video said unless you want it permanently like that. She says it herself on the video. Synthetic hair has memory and will hold any style you give it. So if your straighten it, it will stay straight. It will not revert. The steam way is how you can straighten your hair and it will revert back.
