Dining Room Light Comes on When Using an Outlet

I would alter your thinking. The light switch and the socket are not "just fine."Odds are your switch or your socket (or both) somehow have the ground / return wires incorrectly wired. So either the switch routes the return into the ground when closed or worse. The plug is likely on the same circuit and completing the circuit for the switch due to the miswiring. This could be done a number of ways, some which involve the misconnected ground feeding electricity into the plugged in device, returning through the return (or some other odd but similar arrangement).I would have an electrician go over the switch, the light, and the socket. If any of these items were rewired, odds are there was an undetected issue, as they did not plug something into the socket and test the light in conjunction (and the device seemed to work)

1. is it proper for someone to change a baby diaper in a resteraunt dining room?

No that is not proper. You do not need to show all the people what you baby look like naked. Plus if it's a messy one well that might make people want to eat any more. Some one should have told them that's not right thay have a bathroom for that.

2. what things to remember when dining out?

Cash, Clothes, Shoes, Clean-up before you go out. Pre-order in your mind, fish or chicken or steak. Unless fast food, then just look at the pictures at Mcdonalds and order by number. What time you want to dine out? Breakfast? 24 hours at Jack in The Box! Lunch at lunch time.

3. dashboard dining (eat while driving) help!?

It's not especially safe or healthy to eat while driving, but if you must: Anything you can eat with one hand, without looking. Carrot and celery sticks. Apple. Banana. Berries. Sunflower seeds. Nuts. Healthy homemade granola or granola bars. Lower sugar homemade muffins or mini-muffins. Make a sandwich or wrap at home with almond butter and banana mashed together, or with avocado, sprouts and a little hummus, and bring that to eat. Whole grain crackers and cheese, or whatever non-drippy thing you like on your crackers. Make veggie sushi at home and bring that with you. If you eat meat/fish, you can order sushi with fish in it at a restaurant, and bring that. Rolls a.k.a. maki are easier to eat one handed than nigiri-style pieces. You have to be super careful to keep it cold if you are not eating it right away! Fish goes bad really quickly. So pack it carefully. Cooked fish like crab or shrimp travel better than raw ones like salmon and tuna. Veggie maki do not always need a sauce, and they do not spoil anywhere near as quickly as fish ones! Get ones with avocado inside or some kind of pickle like oshinko or kanpyo so it does not really need sauce. Or if you make your own you can put anything you like in it at all! Even leftover cooked veg from last night's dinner, or PB&J! Basically, good travel food is anything that is fairly dry, and easy to handle. Not too saucy, because that will drip on your hand and shirt. Something that is either bite sized (like sushi, nuts, or berries) or easy to bite into without utensils (like fruit, veggies, or a sandwich or wrap with a fairly soft filling.) I would avoid things that drip a lot like oranges, unless you section them at home, and I would definitely not try to travel with ripe peaches, which are awesome and juicy but require handwashing because they are sticky! Alternately, you could bring a smoothie to have as a liquid meal. Not the kind at those shops that are full of sugar! Make your own with fresh fruits and green veggies, NOT sugar or ice cream or sweetened yogurt! Use water or freshly squeezed juice as the liquid. I like: 1 banana, 1 orange, a couple handfuls of spinach or kale, some spirulina (optional - makes it really green!) and whatever else looks awesome, with just enough water or fresh, unsweetened almond milk to let the blender do its magic. Pineapple works well too, or berries of any kind. Some people like to add protein powders. I like hemp seeds and/or unflavored rice protein powder. Hemp seeds are wonderful and add an amazing creaminess, in addition to protein and the good kinds of fats which help you feel full longer. Pour the whole thing in a jar with a lid that seals really well, drop it in a cooler before your road trip, and you are ready to go! Good luck!
