The perfect choice of one-stop service for diversification of architecture.
Most of us shop for clothing at department stores or popular shops in malls. Boutiques are not often the first place shoppers go or think of when looking for some new additions to their wardrobe when they should be. Boutiques have plenty to offer their shoppers.
Boutiques are known for excellent customer service. They give you one-on-one attention and all the helpful service you could ask for. They know the store inside and out so they are the best to ask for where a specifc item is or advice on what to buy.
Another big perk of boutiques is their unique selection in clothing, accessories, gifts and more. Boutiques often get their merchandise and inventory from smaller and local companies you wont find in department stores. As well as being big supporters of these small and local companies, this provides a fantastic shopping experience since the shop will be filled with completely new products and clothing.
Since many of us shop at department stores it isnt rare to see three different people wear the same top on the same day.Boutiques also put a lot of effort into their shops interior design which I appreciate. Their aesthetic is much more pleasing than most department stores because theyll have beautiful pictures, choice of color and more.
No florescent lights, no endless racks of clothing and no walls of white with nothing on them.Even with all of the perks boutiques have to offer, they also have some downsides. Boutiques are known to be on the pricey side, making it hard for every shopper to find something in their price range.
Sometimes a necklace isnt worth $40, no matter how cute it is.Boutiques also have a smaller selection in sizes so it can be hard to find clothing your size because they only had a certain amount of that particular item while department stores have dozens of each size. They also seem to have a specific and smaller target audience, only selling merchandise for a specific gender and a small age range.
While a lot of people go to boutiques for the great customer service, some people just dont prefer it. I am less comfortable shopping in a small boutique because its harder to be anonymous and independent. Personally, I dont want the sales assistant bringing me items by way of suggestion, and waiting outside the dressing room to tell me what he or she thinks of what I am trying on.
Although that type of service and camaraderie is part of the charm of shopping at a boutique, it tends to have a negative effect on me. said Angie for side are you on? Comment below!
