The Franconia Railway (StuttgartWrzburg) and the NeckarelzOsterburken railway, part of the Baden Odenwald Railway, meet here. On the latter route, the station is the terminus of line S1 of the Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn. Regional-Express services connect with Wrzburg at two-hour intervals, and are supplemented by additional peak hour services. Regional-Express services run via Heilbronn to Stuttgart every 120 minutes. Regionalbahn services run to/from Heilbronn and Stuttgart, some starting or ending at Lauda. The S1 service provides an hourly connection to Homburg via Mosbach-Neckarelz, Eberbach, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Neustadt (Weinstrae) and Kaiserslautern------The station today of railway trackThe building's railway heritage is still clear, as can be seen from the photograph of the front of the building which was the original entrance to the ticket office and waiting rooms. Inside the building there remains part of the platform and the ornate metal roof supports. The site has been completely redeveloped with a builders merchant built on the goods yard and an industrial estate on the passenger lines; a housing development (Bulverton Park, Bulverton) has been built on the trackbed to the north of the station.Since the closure of this station, Sidmouth's nearest rail hub is Honiton railway station, 9 miles away.------Kkekmece railway station of railway trackKkekmece railway station (Turkish: Kkekmece istasyonu) is a railway station in Kkekmece, Istanbul. The station was originally built in 1872 by the Oriental Railway. In 1955, the station was rebuilt as a stop on the Istanbul suburban commuter rail line until 2013, when the entire line was closed down for expansion and renovation. Kkekmece station was demolished as a new one was built just south of the former platform and a third track was added. The station was opened on 1 October 1906 and is on the single track MarinbergAlmelo railway. The line is primarily used by school children in the morning and afternoon. The station has 2 platforms, but one line, because there is a level crossing in between. The train runs over the level crossing first and then stops on the platform. The construction has started in 2019. The summit that followed south of the station (Dava Summit) reaches 1,052 feet.The station was located in sparsely populated moorland, along a dirt track near the junction of the A939 and A940 (OS Grid Reference NJ008389). The purpose of a station at this location was to provide a passing loop with water columns (15 miles from Forres and 16 miles to the first junction at Boat of Garten), although the station did provide some facilities for the area, such as a post office.The surrounding area is wild moorland (The Dava muir).
